Knob Creek is one of Jim Beam’s premium bourbons. The others are Booker’s, Baker’s and Basil Hayden. Above all, Knob Creek like the other small batches harkens back to a time when distillers made their whiskey a little at a time. In other words, Knob Creek is based on a proprietary, pre-prohibition style blend.
Beam crafts Knob Creek in limited quantities, i.e. “small batches”. After that, they age it for nine years in newly charred American oak barrels. Thus, enhancing the sweet vanilla flavors. After that, it is then bottled at an honest 100 proof to reflect the flavor, strength, and patience that defined pre-prohibition whiskey.
So, sip it neat or on the rocks, heck it even makes a great cocktail. However, you drink it, you’re going to like it. After all, it’s considered to be one of the most successful premium Bourbons on the market.
