Knob Creek is an American Whiskey and one of Jim Beam’s premium bourbons. The others are Booker’s, Baker’s and Basil Hayden. Knob Creek like the other small batches harkens back to a time when distillers made their whiskey a little at a time. And, Knob Creek is based on a proprietary, pre-prohibition style blend.
Knob Creek is crafted in limited quantities, i.e. “small batches”. They age it for nine years in newly charred American oak barrels. This enhances the sweet vanilla flavors. It is then bottled at an honest 100 proof to reflect the flavor, strength and patience that defined pre-prohibition whiskey.
Sip it neat or on the rocks, heck it even makes a great cocktail. However, you drink it, you’re going to like it. After all, it’s considered to be one of the most successful premium Bourbons on the market.
